Meet the Team
Brian Praschan
I am an insurance agency owner with a passion for helping people. I have been assisting clients with their insurance needs since 2008. As the owner of Compass Insurance Partners, I created the company to fill the need of a local insurance agency that specializes in individual health insurance and medicare planning. I also felt that the insurance industry has a strong need for a company with a family culture that embraces technology, which allows our team members more time to be with family and focus on the things they care about.
I’m a Circle of Champions Elite Award winner for my work enrolling clients through the Individual Healthcare Marketplace. I’ve been advising clients with the Affordable Care Act since its inception in 2013.
I am happily married to my wife, Erica, since 2005 and have two wonderful children. We have lived in Springfield since 2003. I graduated from Evangel University with a B.S. in Social Science in 2006. I am very active in Hope Community Church here in Springfield Missouri. I enjoy playing competitive doubles Beach Volleyball. I also am very engaged in our children's education at Gloria Deo Academy.

I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Stephanie, since 2006 and we’re glad to have both of our families living here in Springfield. We enjoy puzzles, video games, true crime shows, and spending time with family.
I earned a B.A. in English from Evangel in 2004 and a M.A. in Theological Studies from The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2006. I'm also a suspense fiction author. I’ve self-published five Amazon bestselling novels. I love creating and sharing stories with readers that keep the pages turning. The more thrilling, the better. I have a background in drama, music, and teaching.
Mark Johnson
I am an insurance agent at Compass Insurance Partners focusing on helping seniors with Medicare as well as individuals with health insurance. Health insurance is such an important decision and I enjoy helping people select the best plans to fit their life.
My main passion in life is to teach. I taught elementary school for 5 years before transitioning into being a children’s pastor for the last 13 years. I love to help make complicated topics easy to understand for people.
I’m married to my amazing wife Alisa and we have a busy house with 3 boys. I graduated from Missouri State in 2003 with my B.A in Education. I love living in the Ozarks and being outside. I love hiking, trail running and playing pickleball.
